The Forest School approach
The Forest School approach is an opportunity for children to learn, explore and risk-take within a natural environment. We promote Forest School learning through child-led play and exploration. Through providing forest school opportunities, our children have developed their independence, curiosity and self-esteem.

We follow our parents' lead by providing different experiences of forest school, from gardening, to fire pits and tool use.

Our forest school is a quality educational environment as:
- Our sessions are run by forest school leaders who are Level 3 Forest School trained, as well as having specialised outdoor paediatric first aid training.
- It is a long-term process, ensuring that all of our children have access to regular sessions within their nursery fees.
- Our sessions take place in a natural, outdoor woodland environment in our large nursery garden.
- We use a child-centered approach to build-on our Bilingual family community.
- We ensure that sessions provide holistic learning through opportunities that foster resilience, confidence, risk-taking and independence.

We also run our 'Fun in the Forest' sessions for our nursery children, but are also open to the wider community. Follow our 'Fun in the Forest' tab to find out more!
